Tony Perkins to Speak at Ronald Reagan Luncheon

TONY PERKINS TO SPEAK AT RONALD REAGAN NEWSMAKER LUNCHEON TUESDAY, NOV. 12. Nationally-known conservative leader Tony Perkins of Baton Rouge will speak on U. S. policy in the Middle East and important issues facing the nation at the Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon at 12 noon on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Café Américain, 7521 Jefferson Hwy. in Baton Rouge. Perkins will be returning Sunday from a seven-day trip to Israel, where he is meeting with top Israeli government and military leaders. Perkins organized the trip for members of the United States Congress. The former state legislator, who represented Central and Livingston Parish in the state house, serves as President of the Family Research Council in Washington and is a frequent guest on Fox News and other TV networks. He has been mentioned as a possible candidate for Congress from the Sixth Congressional District next year. The luncheon is open to registered Republicans, guests, and members of the news media. The reception will begin at 11:30 a.m. and lunch at 12 noon. Lunch is $15, payable to the restaurant. The Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon is sponsored by the Republican Party of East Baton Rouge Parish. It is held on the second Tuesday of each month.
