First Ronald Reagan Monthly Luncheon Set Tuesday, May 8 by Republican Party

BATON ROUGE —The Republican Party of East Baton Rouge Parish will kick off its first-ever Ronald Reagan Monthly Luncheon on Tuesday, May 8 at Café Americain.

Republican parish chairman Woody Jenkins said the luncheon will help introduce Republican candidates for Mayor-President, Metro Council, 1st Circuit Court of Appeals, and Louisiana Supreme Court to the public.

Candidates will get to meet attendees starting at 11:30 a.m., and the meeting will be called to order at 12 noon. Each candidate who has formally announced for office will speak during the luncheon and will be available to answer questions after the event.

The luncheon will be hosted by the members of the East Baton Rouge Republican Parish Executive Committee. Richie Edmonds will serve as chairman of the Ronald Reagan Monthly Luncheons, which will be held on the second Tuesday of each month.

Attendees will order lunch from the restaurant when they arrive. A variety of menu items and prices is available.

Registered Republicans, guests of the party, and members of the media are eligible to attend.
